About Ovais
Ovais Amin is the Founder of AYNA and a research scholar dedicated to civic awareness, youth empowerment, and social justice in Jammu & Kashmir. His work combines academic insight with a public commitment to dignity, fairness, and meaningful change. As a research scholar, he believes that understanding is the first step toward change — and that creating space for people who want to contribute to a better Kashmir is the most essential work of all.

Beyond content creation, he is actively involved in charity activities, demonstrating genuine concern for those in need. Through AYNA, he leads video production and public outreach initiatives.

Umair Amin is the Spokesperson at AYNA. A computer science graduate who recently served as Program Head at a US-based company, he returned to Kashmir to pursue entrepreneurship and support budding entrepreneurs in the region. His articulate communication makes him an effective voice for the organisation. Through AYNA, he represents the organisation in public forums, media engagements, and strategic communications, ensuring that AYNA's message is clear, credible, and impactful.

AYNA envisions a Jammu & Kashmir where a young, educated population and the region's rich natural and cultural resources — tourism, horticulture and agriculture, and hydropower — are transformed into equitable human development, shared prosperity, and dignity for every citizen.
In this future, Kashmiris are not constrained by exclusion but are able to build meaningful lives at home, supported by fair institutions, vibrant local economies, and a public culture that protects rights, nurtures unity, and honours our language and heritage.

AYNA's mission is to help unlock this potential by uplifting Kashmiris — especially youth — through civic awareness, rights-based advocacy, and platforms that allow them to speak, organise, and participate meaningfully in public life.
We work to confront the structural challenges that hold our people back — including unemployment, the skills gap, uneven development, and the erosion of land, livelihoods, and public trust — while insisting on fairness, opportunity, and accountability.
By combining research, data, storytelling, and grounded outreach, we connect everyday struggles with constructive solutions in education, employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development across tourism, horticulture, small industry, and clean energy.
